Elm Plank Bench - Camel Tibetan Lamb Pelt
A narrow elm plank bench with a camel Tibetan lamb pelt draped over the top. The plank is solid and single-piece, silvered and checked, with hand-hewn ends and visible tool marks. Splayed legs are through-tenoned into the plank and pegged from above.
New elm, worked to read as old. The pelt lies loose rather than upholstered, so the long curly pile falls over the front edge and the plank shows at both ends. Lift it off and the bench stands on its own.
The seat plank is roughly 5-6" wide. This is a perch and a styling piece, not primary seating.
